Monster Date - Make a game in 2 weeks progress report.

So week 1 just passed and I spent it pretty much on refining the gameplay and adding a pickup and scoring system. I did lose 2 days as I was attending Game Masters: The Forum, but it was worth it.
Hooby Groovy is helping me with the graphics again, the look of the game is going to be similar to the original "inspired by" picture I posted last week, but with an even more pixel art feel to it. Here is a "girl" monster she's been working on:

Originally, I just wanted to have a *very* simple game, as I did with Cow Abduct!, but the more I work on this the more ideas I have, I'll have to put aside some time to organise them one day. I'm starting to feel that this game might have a bit more potential than just a quick 2 week project. I'm going to get it to the original simple game point I was planning to, and assess from there. Stay tuned!
